Job Description:

This Pediatric Emergency Room RN position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospital setting that handles a variety of urgent pediatric cases. You will be responsible for managing acute emergencies such as asthma attacks, diabetic ketoacidosis, and neonatal fevers, along with performing procedures like moderate sedations, chest tube care, and ventilator management. The role involves a 12-hour day shift structure over the course of 13 weeks, providing a chance to experience a fast-paced but rewarding environment. You'll be supporting a team that includes techs and LPNs, with a patient ratio of 1:4, in a facility equipped with 31 to 40 beds, including bays for critical care. This assignment is perfect for an RN with pediatric ER experience who appreciates the challenge and excitement of emergency pediatric care.
