Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital that emphasizes acute care and trauma experience. You will be responsible for managing post-anesthesia patients in a fast-paced environment, including pre/post-cath and IR procedures. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, with a commitment of 48 hours per week over 18 weeks. A key aspect of this assignment is the requirement to work two out of three holiday bundles, adding a festive touch to your schedule. The facility also expects PACU RNs to float within their scope, primarily to the holding area, with patient ratios varying from 1:2 to 1:5 depending on the department. To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of recent inpatient trauma and telemetry experience, along with current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This environment values teamwork, flexibility, and a focus on patient safety, making it a unique and impactful travel assignment.
