Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts in Kingsport, Tennessee. In this role, you'll provide care in a Med/Surg setting, handling patient loads with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio. The schedule includes alternating 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 shifts, with every other weekend required. You'll be expected to float as needed between different units, supporting a variety of patient needs. The facility values first-time travelers and requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, including Med/Surg and MS/Tele. AHA BLS certification is mandatory. The assignment involves active participation in nursing student education, supporting future professionals alongside clinical duties. Expect to start with online orientation and complete 16 hours of nonbillable training. The hospital offers flexibility with shift cancellations or call-offs related to census fluctuations, and overtime shifts may be available as needed.
