Job Description:

This PACU RN assignment offers a hands-on opportunity to recover patients post-anesthesia in a fast-paced surgical environment. Located in Williston, ND, your role involves closely monitoring patients after procedures such as endoscopies, hernia repairs, hysterectomies, C-sections, orthopedics, and other general surgery cases. You will work alongside anesthesia teams to recover patients, manage airway maintenance, calculate Aldreti scores, and respond promptly to life-saving situations. The shift consists of 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour workweek spanning 13 weeks. This role is perfect for RNs with at least one year of PACU experience who are comfortable handling complex post-op cases and working in a supportive but busy setting. You'll be part of a team that values efficiency, safety, and patient comfort—your expertise will help ensure smooth recovery transitions for a variety of surgical patients. The assignment includes a 3-5 shift orientation with buddy calls if needed, and offers after-hours call responsibilities. Basic EMR familiarity with Meditech is preferred.
