Job Description:

Join a vibrant ER team in Omaha, Nebraska, for a 13-week contract as an RN. This role involves night shifts of 12 hours, specifically Fridays and Saturdays or Saturdays and Sundays, with self-scheduling options. You'll be working with a diverse patient population, including all ages, in a moderate 27-bed emergency department. Your responsibilities include assisting with patient aids, EMTs, and paramedics, drawing labs through phlebotomy, and performing tasks that keep the ER running smoothly. Candidates must pass a skills-based open book exam during orientation, with a requirement of at least 90% to pass. Artificial nails are not permitted, and a valid driver's license is necessary to confirm eligibility within a 50-mile radius. The assigned shift schedule includes a weekend every third week, and rotating holiday coverage is required. This assignment offers a weekly commitment of 36 hours, providing a balance of work and time off in a lively city setting.
