Job Description:

Join our team as a Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse in San Diego, CA, for a 13-week contract that offers an engaging environment focused on pediatric recovery. You'll work in a facility recognized among the top children’s hospitals nationwide, caring for young patients recovering from surgeries and procedures. The role involves 10-hour rotating shifts, with varied start times between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, providing flexibility within your schedule. You’ll be managing airway devices, IV therapy, pain management, and discharge instructions, all in a unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-2 in the PACU. This assignment offers a chance to utilize your pediatric critical care skills in a supportive, high-quality hospital setting, and training is available if you're coming from PICU with no PACU experience. Be prepared for potential on-call duties, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, to ensure patient recovery needs are met.
