Job Description:

Join our team as a peri-anesthesia registered nurse in Lewiston, Maine, and experience a travel assignment that combines professional growth with a touch of adventure. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work at a well-equipped facility with a 19-bed pre-op and same-day surgery unit, along with a 12-bed Phase I PACU. You'll be managing a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult cases, with responsibilities spanning arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, and procedural sedation. The shift schedule provides flexibility within a variable window from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and you'll be working approximately 36 hours per week, with a rotation that includes on-call shifts every five to six weeks. This assignment is a perfect blend of clinical challenge and local charm, all within a supportive teaching hospital environment that values your expertise.
