Job Description:
Join us for a 13-week travel RN assignment in Lewiston, Maine, where you'll work nights in the ICU at a busy, Level III trauma center. This role offers a chance to sharpen your trauma and neuro skills, managing a diverse patient population with acuity-based assignments and a range of advanced equipment, including ceiling lifts and IV pumps. The shift runs from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and every third weekend off. Experience a mix of challenging cases like sepsis, brain injuries, and post-surgical care, all in a community known for its arts, outdoor activities, and proximity to coastal adventures.

Job Specifics:
Location: Lewiston, ME
Shift: Night (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
This ICU RN role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, with some float requirements to other units like CICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency. Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIH are required, along with a Maine RN license and at least 2 years of trauma/neuro experience. You'll be supporting patients with complex conditions like sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, and neuro injuries. The unit features extensive patient handling equipment and a focus on safety and acuity-based assignments.
