Job Description:

Join our team as a respiratory therapist on a 13-week nighttime contract at a busy Level II Trauma Center located in Fredericksburg, VA. You'll be stepping into a role that offers a blend of critical care and emergency response, floating between adult ICU, ER, and stepdown units. With 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, this position provides a hands-on experience with airway management, medication administration, ABGs, and advanced ventilation therapies like BiPAP and CPAP. Job Specifics:

Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks with guaranteed hours, working 36 hours per week.
Note: Must have BLS, CRT, VA license or proof of application, ACLS (within 90 days of start), and respiratory-specific experience including airway management, ABGs, and ventilation therapies. Prior experience in adult ICU, ER, NICU, or Level II Trauma settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. On-call duty is mandatory, with three on-call shifts per six-week cycle. The role provides an opportunity to hone your respiratory skills in a busy hospital environment, floating within scope to meet facility needs.
