Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week contract as a PCU Registered Nurse on a fast-paced trauma stepdown unit in Charleston, West Virginia. This role involves providing specialized care to multi-system-injured trauma and surgical patients in a unit that balances intermediate care with a multidisciplinary team approach. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, floating within scope to meet facility needs. The environment is challenging yet rewarding, offering opportunities to utilize your trauma experience—perfect if you’ve worked in ICU or trauma units before. The unit has a mix of floor beds and step-down patients, with a patient ratio of 1:5 on the floor and 1:3 in the step-down. This assignment stands out for its focus on trauma and surgical care, offering a chance to refine your skills in a supportive setting while enjoying a varied workload that keeps you engaged.
