Job Description:
Join us as a travel healthcare professional in the Emergency Department at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. This 13-week assignment offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where you'll be part of a dedicated team managing a 38-bed emergency unit. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing patient needs, performing procedures such as port placements and chest tubes, and utilizing advanced equipment like ventilators, BiPAPs, and EKGs. The shift schedule includes day and night shifts, with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail, all while providing excellent patient-focused care. This role isn't just about work—it's a chance to experience the unique dynamics of Kansas City’s healthcare scene while making a real impact in critical moments.

Job Specifics:
Location: Kansas City, MO
Shift: 36 hours per week, rotating day and night shifts
Duration: 13 weeks with a guaranteed 48 hours weekly pay
This assignment involves working on a busy emergency department floor, performing procedures, managing equipment, and contributing to patient stabilization efforts. The schedule includes working four weekends and a minimum of two Fridays per four-week cycle, along with a couple of major and minor holidays.
