Job Description:

Join a fast-paced surgical recovery unit in Rancho Mirage as a PACU Registered Nurse. In this role, you’ll be part of a busy perioperative team, responsible for pre-operative and post-anesthesia patient care. You’ll work in a combined Pre-op and PACU setting, providing care for patients recovering from a wide range of surgeries, including orthopedics, bariatrics, neuro, and more. The shift is 12 hours overnight, with a schedule that keeps your nights lively and your days free to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Expect a mix of scheduled cases and add-ons, with the opportunity to float to outpatient and same-day surgery centers when needed. Prior PACU and pre-op experience are essential, and proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records will help you hit the ground running. This assignment offers a unique chance to refine your skills in a highly supported environment while experiencing the scenic California desert landscape outside of work.

Location: Rancho Mirage, CA

Shift: 12-hour nights, 2000 - 0430 (Monday - Thursday) and weekends, 1800 start
