Job Description:
Join our team as an ER Registered Nurse in Huntersville, North Carolina, for a 13-week contract. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), providing critical emergency care in a community hospital setting. This role offers a chance to work with a dedicated team of ED physicians, MLPs, nurses, and paramedics, managing a variety of cases including stroke, chest pain, and trauma while enjoying the rhythm of night shift hours. Expect to handle IV starts, triage, telemetry, and procedural sedation, with opportunities to expand your critical care skills. Please note that RTO after booking is not permitted, and call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation, so reliability is essential. The unit is well-equipped with Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis systems, and EPIC EHR, supporting your efficient workflow.

Job Specifics:
Location: Huntersville, NC
Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Duration: 13 weeks with a 36-hour weekly commitment
This assignment does not require float coverage and features every other weekend off, specifically on Saturday and Sunday. Orientation includes two full shifts on the unit and hospital classes during the first week. The unit is stroke and chest pain certified, with dedicated staff operating advanced equipment like scanning systems, EPIC, and Pyxis. You must pass EKG testing prior to start.
