Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as an OR Tech in Lexington, Kentucky, supporting a versatile operating room environment. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work evening shifts, helping to keep surgeries running smoothly after standard hours. The role involves assisting with a mix of general, vascular, neuro, plastics, ortho, and cardiothoracic cases—specifically requiring experience or skills in cardiothoracic procedures. You'll be part of a team with a manager and charge nurse present on each shift, and you'll participate in 3-4 days of department-specific orientation for a seamless transition into the role. Expect a focus on quality care support for a varied caseload, including some call coverage during weekdays and weekends, which adds an element of responsibility and teamwork outside of regular hours. This role is unique in its fast-paced, hands-on environment, requiring responsiveness and adaptability to new challenges while supporting vital surgeries essential for patient recovery.
