Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a high-acuity obstetric setting within a reputable hospital. The role involves supporting expectant mothers through various stages of delivery, including assisting with vaginal births, circulating for cesarean sections, and managing postpartum care. You will be performing procedures such as fetal monitoring with EFM, administering medications like magnesium sulfate and Pitocin, and monitoring neonatal wellness with radiant warmers and thermoregulation. The shift is 12 hours on a rotating schedule, with every other weekend and holiday availability required. Experience with charting in EPIC or GE Centricity is essential, and floating within your skillset will be expected across labor, delivery, and postpartum units. This assignment provides a dynamic environment where your clinical skills directly impact maternal and neonatal outcomes over a 13-week contract period.
