Job Description:

This assignment in the emergency department offers a chance to work in a busy, high-acuity setting with approximately 170-200 patients daily. As an ER RN, you'll manage a patient load of roughly 1:3 to 1:4, operating within a 12-hour day shift schedule. You'll be involved in triage, patient stabilization, and coordinating care for complex cases such as cardiac events, strokes, sepsis, and mental health emergencies. The role requires a solid background in trauma or high-volume ER environments and certification in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, or ENPC. Expect to work on a 36-hour weekly commitment over a 13-week contract, with some holiday and weekend requirements. You'll also experience rare but essential collaboration with ED physicians, techs, and radiology staff, utilizing advanced equipment like vents, CPap, and BiPaps, with the support of Epic EMR system.
