Join our team as an OR RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week travel assignment that offers an engaging mix of surgical cases and flexible scheduling. You'll be working on the general team, handling a variety of surgical procedures including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI, with opportunities to scrub in and circulate. The role involves 8-hour variable shifts, primarily mornings and early afternoons, with on-call responsibilities that challenge your quick response skills. This is a highly focused environment for experienced OR nurses who enjoy diverse cases and the chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment including Da Vinci robotics. Job Specifics:

Shift: 8-hour variable shifts, primarily mornings and early afternoons

Additional details: Flexibility in scrub colors, on-call responsibilities with response within 30 minutes, and participation in holiday rotation. The assignment includes weekend on-call but no holiday work required. Travelers should have at least 5 years of OR experience, including robotic surgery and trauma level II experience, and be comfortable circulating as well as scrubbing in. Mandatory certifications include AHA BLS and ACLS, and WI RN license. The role involves managing a high volume of cases across 21 ORs, with an average of 45 cases daily, in a setting that values resilience, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
