Job Description:

Join our outpatient surgical center team in State College as a registered nurse specializing in perioperative care. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour day shifts, where you will play a vital role in preoperative and post-anesthesia patient management. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, preparing and assisting with surgical procedures, documenting care accurately, and providing education to patients and their families. The role also involves coordinating with anesthesiologists and surgeons, managing supplies and resources, and supporting team functions in PACU, pain management, and eye laser procedure rooms.
