Job Description:

This travel contract places you in the heart of Milwaukee’s acclaimed medical community, working within a vibrant 933-bed Level III Trauma Center. As an RN on the Med Surg unit, you will experience a busy, fast-paced environment where your skills in wound care, surgical/post-op care, and vent management are essential. You’ll care for adult patients with conditions ranging from COPD and heart failure to complex ventilator situations, all while managing a variety of responsibilities including IV starts, wound vacs, PEG tubes, and TPN. The shift is 12 hours overnight, giving you a unique opportunity to enjoy the city’s offerings during the day. Expect to work 36 hours weekly over 13 weeks, with a supportive team that includes a charge nurse, hospitalists, RTs, and techs, all under the EPIC charting system. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable with vent management and ready for a rewarding challenge in a top-tier facility.
