Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in the Post-Cardiac Unit (PCU) at a busy healthcare facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care to cardiac and medical stepdown patients. You'll manage conditions such as post-CABG, lung surgeries, PCI, TAVR, respiratory failure, CVA, DKA, and sepsis. The position offers a chance to hone skills like titrating cardiac drips, managing central lines, and handling complex cardiac monitors. This assignment is perfect for experienced PCU RNs looking for a rewarding challenge in a unit that supports diverse patient needs. Comfortable working independently yet supported by a robust team, you'll contribute to a collaborative environment where patient stability is paramount.
