Job Description:

Join a fast-paced medical-surgical unit as a Telemetry Registered Nurse on a 14-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This 23-bed unit specializes in orthopedic, spine, general, and bariatric surgeries, with occasional overflow from medicine areas. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring post-op patients, including cardiac and oxygen levels, and may float to other units based on skillset. Prior experience caring for post-op surgical patients is required; first-time travelers with relevant orthopedic or gastrointestinal experience may be considered. BLS certification is necessary; ACLS is not required. An EKG exam will be part of onboarding. Expect to work three out of five winter holidays, providing an opportunity to enjoy the festive season in an engaging setting.
