Job Description:

Join a challenging yet rewarding travel assignment in Bakersfield, CA, working on the telemetry unit with 31 beds, including private and semi-private rooms. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts, providing an immersive experience in a fast-paced environment where you'll interpret cardiac rhythms, assist with post-pacer patients, and monitor high-acuity cases such as stroke, TBI, and sepsis. Your expertise with Cerner EMR and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS will be essential to navigating this role. The setting offers opportunities to collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists and be a vital part of a skilled nursing team, with shifts scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
