Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in the fast-paced, high-energy pediatric emergency department at Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee. As an ER RN on 12-hour mids, you'll be the go-to professional for pediatric patients experiencing a range of emergencies, from low to high acuity cases. Your role involves assessing, administering medications—particularly sedation with Ketamine or Propofol—performing wound care, EKGs, and providing mental health support. The department boasts a bustling environment, with an average of up to 280 visits per day, and you'll work alongside ED techs and nurses in a division split between fast track and higher acuity areas. Your expertise will help ensure swift, quality care in one of Wisconsin's busiest pediatric ERs, all in a setting that values your skills and flexibility.
