Job Description

Join a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse on a cardiac telemetry unit in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will care for adult and geriatric patients experiencing heart failure, STEMI and NSTEMI, arrhythmias, chest pain, and stroke requiring cardiac monitoring. The role includes interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, caring for patients with pacemakers, administering blood products, managing central and PICC lines, and handling cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration when required.

This 12-hour night assignment runs from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with a 1:6 ratio, support from technicians and SNIs, and floating to like units or lower-acuity areas as needed. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, and holiday coverage is every other holiday. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required, along with at least one year of experience and prior experience managing a 1:6 ratio. Cerner documentation experience is preferred. Night owls with cardiac telemetry experience will find plenty to keep their skills sharp.
