Job Description

Take your emergency nursing expertise to Overland Park as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. You will work night shifts in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department, caring for a broad range of emergency diagnoses with a typical ratio of 1:4. This assignment includes cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy, central line management, continuous IV sedation, vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, triage, and isolation precautions. The department serves as a Primary Stroke and STEMI Center and may occasionally manage obstetric patients until transfer. Regular floating within scope may be required across the ED Hold area, departments, units, and facilities. Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments may be needed. Bring your ER experience and get ready for a night-shift adventure.
