Job Description

This 13-week travel contract is designed for an experienced Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse supporting adult inpatients with actual or potential life-threatening cardiac and multisystem conditions. The assignment includes caring for patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease, including those receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, or anticoagulation.

The night shift runs from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule. Responsibilities may include cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKGs, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring, vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drug therapy, thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation or cardioversion, and thoracentesis support. Weekend coverage is every other weekend but may change based on operational needs. Floating to like units or other facilities may be required.

Applicants must hold ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and an active South Carolina RN license. At least two years of experience is requested, with a minimum of one year of EPIC experience. First-time travelers may be considered based on experience.
