Job Description:

Join a cardiac stepdown team in Asheville for a 13-week travel assignment caring for patients with heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, diabetic ketoacidosis, and post-cardiac procedures. You will provide telemetry monitoring, manage titratable cardiac medications and insulin or heparin drips, support bedside cardioversion, and care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterization, stent placement, pacemaker or ICD procedures, and ablation. Stepdown or progressive care experience, telemetry experience, and BLS and ACLS certifications are required. The assignment includes floating to designated medical-surgical, stepdown, COVID, and emergency holding areas, with every other weekend coverage. Scrubs are all white, all navy blue, or a white top with navy pants.
