Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract is for an experienced cardiac progressive care nurse in Atlanta, Georgia. Working 12-hour night shifts, you will care for high-acuity cardiac patients, manage frequent admissions and discharges, interpret telemetry independently, and administer cardiac drips including insulin, milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, heparin, Lasix, and nitroglycerin. The assignment includes substantial procedural exposure, such as catheterizations, sheath and groin-site management, cardioversions, ablations, pacemakers, ICDs, and STEMI/NSTEMI care. EPIC experience, recent cardiac unit experience, chest tube experience, and successful completion of a proctored dysrhythmia exam are required. Experience with heart transplant and LVAD patients is preferred, with training available if needed. Travelers may float to similar cardiac or PCU units.
