Job Description:

This travel Registered Nurse assignment supports pediatric and adult behavioral health patients in a freestanding acute inpatient setting. You will care for children and adolescents ages 5–18 as well as adults through geriatric age, providing psychiatric and medical nursing care for conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and suicidal ideation. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, de-escalation, physical restraint procedures, and facilitating therapeutic groups. The role includes floating between pediatric and adult units, with opportunities to serve as Charge Nurse if desired. Specialized programming may include group sessions, pet therapy, and community garden activities.
