Job Description:

This travel assignment is for a Med-Surg Registered Nurse supporting patients recovering from orthopedic, spine, trauma, and vascular procedures, along with medical overflow needs. The 12-hour night shift includes incision and wound care, drain and chest tube management, mobility support, patient education, tracheostomy care, NG tube insertion, and use of braces or traction. Travelers will contribute to the unit’s advanced spine surgery certification process with guidance from department leadership. The role also includes floating to other nursing units and regional facilities as needed, within scope of practice.
