Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity to work on a telemetry and medical-surgical unit, providing vital patient monitoring and support. As a skilled nurse, you'll be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a basic dysrhythmia test-out during orientation. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for diverse patient populations, including geriatric, adult, and medical/surgical patients. Job Specifics:

Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Shift: 12-hour nights
Duration: 13 weeks
Estimated weekly hours: 36 hours with potential overtime
Note: May require floating to West Burlington or Henry County campuses and occasional on-call responsibilities. Candidates must have recent EPIC EMR experience in a similar unit and ACLS certification. Telemetry skills, especially in dysrhythmia identification, are essential.
