Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel healthcare contract as a Registered Nurse supporting a Med/Surg telemetry unit on 12-hour night shifts. You will care for patients with conditions including CHF, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, CVA, respiratory illnesses, and other medical-surgical diagnoses. Responsibilities include cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry strip verification, IV and central line management, tracheostomy and chest tube care, NG and feeding tube management, urinary catheter care, and wound care, including wound vacs. The assignment uses Epic and includes support from a 24/7 telemetry team, hospitalists, and respiratory therapy. Travelers may float to other medical-surgical or holding and overflow units.
