Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse supporting patients with conditions including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and acute coronary syndrome. Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. in a department with fast-track services, trauma bays, psychiatric and seclusion rooms, 24/7 charge nurse coverage, and support from nurse aides, paramedics, emergency department technicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, laboratory, and IV teams. The assignment includes every-other-weekend coverage, occasional holidays, Epic charting, and navy blue scrubs. Required certifications include TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS, and travelers must have completed at least one previous travel assignment.

Tacoma typically has cool temperatures, cloudy skies, and periodic rain during this time of year. Comfortable layers and reliable rain gear are useful for exploring the area between shifts.
