Job Description:

Take on a 13-week travel assignment supporting emergency departments in Bryan and Montpelier, Ohio. You will triage and assess patients, start IVs, administer oral, intramuscular, and IV medications, manage critical drips and moderate sedation, perform EKGs, draw blood, and assist physicians with procedures such as reductions, chest tubes, central lines, and intubations. You will also stabilize patients transferring to other facilities and report on admitted patients moving to inpatient units. Work alongside two or three other nurses and a clerk or tech on a set schedule with every third weekend, no call, and possible extra shifts available. EPIC charting, barcode medication administration, Omnicell cabinets, bedside cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps support the department’s workflow.
