Job Description:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment supports a float pool covering MedSurg Tele and PCU units, including inpatients holding in the emergency department. You will care for primarily geriatric and orthopedic patients, along with post-cardiac catheterization, post-MI, and CABG recovery patients. The role includes interpreting telemetry strips, managing CPAP or BiPAP patients, and titrating drips such as heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, dopamine, dobutamine, and insulin. At least one year of PCU experience, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam are required. Scheduling is handled by the float pool, with assignments communicated before each shift, so flexibility across units and campuses is important.
