Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in Mount Vernon, Illinois, is designed for an experienced emergency department registered nurse. You will care for patients with urgent and complex conditions, including stroke, cardiac events, neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, head injuries, traumatic amputations, and other emergencies. Responsibilities include triage, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy and phlebotomy, IV medication administration, and care involving CPAP or BiPAP. The assignment uses EPIC charting and requires ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications. A minimum of two years of experience is required, and first-time travelers are not accepted. Pending Illinois licensure is accepted when the license application is submitted before or with the profile.
