Job Description:

Join a cardiac telemetry and intermediate step-down team in Wausau as a travel Registered Nurse. This assignment focuses on caring for patients recovering from cardiac surgery and procedures, including CABG, valve surgery, thoracotomy, vascular procedures, catheterization, pacemaker placement, defibrillator procedures, and ablations. You will also care for patients with arrhythmias, CHF, acute chest pain, and myocardial infarction. Day shifts run 12 hours, with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Travelers may float to other inpatient units as needed, making flexibility an important part of the assignment.
