Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Sacramento. You will care for adult patients with conditions including GI and GU issues, CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, chest tubes, post-operative recovery, orthopedic cases, behavioral health needs, and substance withdrawal. The unit also supports OB overflow and serves a diverse county-care population.

This assignment offers 12-hour day shifts with telemetry responsibilities, including reading and documenting strips and managing ordered drips such as heparin, diltiazem, and amiodarone. Expect a supportive orientation with a preceptor, self-scheduling balanced by management, every-other-weekend requirements, and occasional floating to related departments or nearby facilities. Translators and technology-assisted interpretation are available to support respectful care across many cultures and languages.
