Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced PACU Registered Nurse with at least one year of critical care experience. Working four 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., you will provide pre- and post-operative care for patients recovering from a broad range of procedures, including bariatric, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, vascular, and other surgical cases. The role includes airway assessment, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, pain management, recovery from anesthesia, and care involving ventilated patients, central lines, chest tubes, and advanced postoperative protocols. ACLS, BLS, PALS, an active Illinois license, and Cerner experience are required. Up to 30 hours of on-call coverage may be required during the assignment.
