Job Description

Join a high-acuity PACU team in St. Louis as a Registered Nurse caring for complex postoperative patients following general anesthesia and surgical procedures. You will manage patients with multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and other critical care needs while supporting preoperative preparation when the PACU is not occupied. This weekend-focused night assignment runs Friday through Sunday and includes occasional call coverage. Candidates should have at least one year of critical care experience, PACU experience, or experience in a Level I trauma setting, along with proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts, ventilator management, telemetry, BLS, ACLS, and EPIC charting.

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Call: 24 hours per six-week schedule period
