Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers the opportunity to work on a med/surg unit, focusing on surgical patients in various stages of recovery. The role involves caring for post-operative patients with conditions such as wounds, drains, trachs, ostomies, and feeding tubes, providing crucial support in a busy hospital setting. You'll assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, monitor patient responses, administer medications, and manage IV infusions. This assignment is perfect for experienced nurses with acute care surgical background who enjoy a variety of surgical cases and step-down care. Expect to collaborate closely with patients and their families, sharing care plans and discharge instructions, while delegating tasks to support staff.
