Job Description:

Join a well-equipped ICU team in Rapid City, South Dakota, for a 13-week travel assignment working 48-hour night shifts. As an ICU RN, you'll care for a diverse mix of complex patients, including surgical, medical, trauma, and cardiac cases, often requiring vigilant hemodynamic management and ventilator support. This role offers the chance to sharpen your critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment while working with a supportive team that includes nurse aides, resource nurses, and intensivists. The unit's mixed ICU setup divided into pods means you'll experience a variety of cases without floating into unfamiliar specialties unless you have specific experience. Expect to work within a highly skilled environment that values expertise, especially in managing patients with ARDS, MI, CVA, trauma, and post-surgical needs.
