Job Description:

Join Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN, as an ICU RN for an immediate backfill opportunity. This role places you in a 5-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 2-3:1, caring for adult and geriatric patients experiencing conditions like DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, OD, and psych-related issues. You'll work 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours a week over a 13-week contract, with the possibility of contributing to the upcoming 10-bed ICU expansion. Expect to use equipment such as ventilators, bipaps, drips, and glucometers, all managed through Medhost EHR. This assignment offers a chance to experience critical care in a setting that values teamwork and critical thinking, all while maintaining a professional yet approachable atmosphere.
