Job Description:

This contract is designed for registered nurses ready to take on a fast-paced Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit. You'll be managing complex wound care, drains, chest tubes, and respiratory support for patients with traumatic injuries, TBI, fractures, and post-surgical conditions. The role offers exposure to both floor and step-down care, with staffing ratios of 1:6 for general floor patients and 1:3 for step-down cases. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical skills in a dynamic environment that challenges even the most experienced nurses. Your expertise in handling complex cases and your ability to assess and act swiftly will be essential to providing high-quality patient care in this high-impact setting.
