Job Description:

Join our team as a dedicated outpatient Rehabilitation Therapist at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA. In this role, you'll work within a 44-bed unit specializing in stroke evaluation and treatment, utilizing advanced equipment such as Vital Stim, AmpCare, and MBSS with TIMS. Your daily routine will involve conducting swallowing and language procedures, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of 10 OT/PTs and speech therapists, and implementing AIDET communication strategies to ensure patients feel understood and supported. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to apply your hospital and inpatient rehab experience in a setting that values innovation and teamwork, all while enjoying a schedule of 12-hour days and the chance to float to the acute hospital when needed.
