Job Description:

Join a fast-paced adult surgical unit specializing in trauma and acute care surgical patients. This MedSurg RN role offers the opportunity to work in a busy environment where supporting patient recovery is front and center. The unit features two negative pressure rooms equipped for COVID-19 cases and frequently handles traumas such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and orthopedic traumas. Surgical diagnoses include hernia repairs, bowel obstructions, appendectomies, and gallbladder removals. You will be providing vital bedside care, managing chest tubes, drips, lines, drains, trachs, and blood draws, all while coordinating patient rehabilitation efforts. Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma centers with a knack for multitasking in critical moments will set you up for success in this impactful assignment.

Shift: 12-hour nights
