Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding travel assignment at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, TX. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be part of a specialized team working on complex transplant procedures, including liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants, as well as various general and bariatric surgeries. This role involves providing perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical suite, supporting surgeons through multiple complex procedures, and ensuring a smooth operation from start to finish. The setting offers opportunities to gain exposure to cutting-edge transplant techniques within a nationally recognized facility. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Please ensure your license is active in Texas; temporary licenses are not accepted. Prior travel experience in the OR and at least 2 years of hospital experience are required. Familiarity with Meditech is preferred, along with experience in robotics, urology, general surgery, and bariatric procedures. Knowledge of the Methodist floating policy and adherence to dress code standards are essential for this role.
