Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity to work on a telemetry/med surg unit in Fort Madison, Iowa. The role involves self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a basic dysrhythmia test required in the first week to qualify for the assignment. You will deliver care to adult, geriatric, and medical/surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in collaboration with the healthcare team. While the primary schedule is set for Saturday through Monday, occasional on-call shifts may occur during low census periods, requiring prompt response within one hour. This position is ideal for attentive nurses eager to expand their telemetry experience in a supportive setting.
