Job Description:

Join our team as a Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse in Wilmington, North Carolina, for a 16-week contract handling night shifts. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, including diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, and renal failure. Your expertise will be vital in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing central lines, and administering blood products. Expect to utilize telemetry monitoring, respond to rapid response and code teams, and perform procedures such as IV insertion, blood draws, and wound care. This assignment offers the opportunity to work autonomously during night hours, with the chance to float to nearby units as needed. The setting challenges you to apply your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a direct impact on patient outcomes, all while experiencing the unique rhythm of a coastal city that balances work and leisure effortlessly.
