Job Description:

Join us as a travel RN at Corpus Christi Medical Center, where you'll be stepping into a 16-bed med/surg unit that is currently a mix of traditional and COVID-positive patients. Your day will involve caring for 4 to 6 patients with a focus on standard nursing procedures such as IV insertions, urinary catheter care, central line maintenance, medication administration, and thorough documentation in Meditech. This assignment offers a chance to experience a busy, multifaceted environment—sometimes it feels like a well-oiled machine with a bit of a playground twist. The shift is 12 hours long, with a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. Expect to work rotating weekends and on-call as needed, providing care in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
